Chop, also known as Chopstick, is the in-house producer for Atlanta-based independent record label Alien 4 Life Records. As the label continues pioneering its signature hip-hop subgenre, Ambient Trap, Chop brings a production style built around the label’s mantra: “Ambient Trap Bounce & Melodies.”

Known for crafting spacious, raw, and atmospheric soundscapes, Chop blends crisp, colorful melodies with soothing textures and bouncy 808s to create production that gives artists room to make the record their own. His versatility allows him to move effortlessly between high-energy, hype-driven records and slower, melodic productions with an R&B influence.

Recently joining forces with Alien 4 Life Records, Chop is already making his mark on the label’s next chapter, contributing to Xhrill Zoo’s debut LP, the label’s inaugural album release. With that project underway and much more in the works, Chop is helping shape the sound and sonic identity of Alien 4 Life.
